Exploring Nature Through Gel Plate Printing at Pier 11 Studio
Today marked an exciting milestone at Pier 11 Studio. We held our first class, which focused on gel plate printing with a delightful nature twist. Despite the chilly weather outside, our studio was a warm and inviting space where creativity flourished. We used Akua intaglio inks, gel plates, and natural materials for mark-making, such as dried and pressed seashells, leaves and flowers, and small branches. See the class pics here and visit the link to sign up for our next Nature Gel Plate Printmaking Class, 2 hours, materials included.
